Points From Practice -- Defense (11/7/18)

Kentucky still has a lot to play for despite losing the SEC East title game to Georgia last Saturday. The Cats must travel to Knoxville this weekend to battle one of their most beloved rivals, Tennessee. If Kentucky can win out, they might find themselves amongst the top ten teams in college football. Here is what select players and coaches from the defensive side of the football had to say following their Wednesday practice.

Points

  • Defensive Coordinator Matt House said the team has responded well in practice this week, saw a lot of 'determination'.
  • Linebacker Kash Daniel said this week he will try to get his wrist movement back, said his hand feels a lot better.
  • Corner Derrick Baity said Tennessee's wide receivers might be the most physical they will have faced this season.
  • Outside Linebacker Josh Allen said the career sack record is a goal of his, but said if they can win-out he could care less about the sacks.
