SEC announces game times networks for handful of games

September 1, 2020

The SEC has announced the times and networks for a handful of games with the 2020 season just over three weeks away from kickoff.

Included in the announcement were game times for the first two weeks of the season.

The Kentucky Wildcats learned they open their season at the Auburn Tigers at noon on September 26 and host Ole Miss on October 3 at 4 p.m. EST. Both games will be televised on the SEC Network. Their game at Missouri on October 31 also has a time set as that game will kick off at noon on the SEC Network.

In other UK related news, the Wildcats learned their game at Tennessee on October 17 will kick off at either noon, 3:30 p.m. EST or 4 p.m. EST with the network to be announced at a later date.

Kentucky will not be featured during any of the initially scheduled CBS Game of the Week matchups with a 3:30 p.m. timeslot.

Those games will be:

September 26 — Mississippi State at LSU

October 3 — Texas A&M at Alabama

October 17 — Georgia at Alabama

October 31 — LSU at Auburn

November 7 — Florida vs. Georgia (Jacksonville, Fla.)

November 14 — Alabama at LSU

December 19 — SEC Championship game, time TBD
