Kentucky is hitting the State of Florida hard this week with numerous offers being handed out. Sophomore outside linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II is from American Heritage HS (Fla.) The 6-foot, 205-pounder received an offer from the Cats yesterday. He already holds offers from Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse.

Hyppolite II talked about his offer from Kentucky.

“I was surprised when I got offered from Kentucky. I’ve wanted this offer for a while now.”

He explains why he wanted the Kentucky offer.

“I have a family friend and a cousin that goes to Kentucky, and I’ve been following their career so far. It seems like a great campus.”

The American Heritage standout said he spoke to one of them since being offered.

“They told me to stay humble and more offers will come my way.”

Hyppolite II discusses his plans for the summer including a few camps he will participate in.

“I will be camping at Stanford and Kentucky. I know Kentucky’s camp is sometime in June. I’ll have to check the exact date for the Stanford camp as I am not sure the date for that camp at this moment.”

The Sunshine State sophomore outside linebacker doesn’t have any favorites in his recruitment at this time.

“I am just grateful and blessed for each opportunity to play football at the next level,” said Hyppolite II.

Hyppolite II went on to say he plans to make his college decision going into his senior year.
