The Kentucky coaching staff is looking ahead to the future by extending an offer to Carol City (Fla.) freshman all-purpose back Katravis Geter. Geter, a member of the 2021 class, is 5-foot-9, 175-pounds and also holds an offer from in-state school FIU.

Geter talks about his first SEC offer coming from Kentucky.

“I was a little surprised by the Kentucky offer.”

He mentions he knows which coach offered him.

“I know Coach (Steven) Clinkscale offered me.”

As for knowing anything about Kentucky as a whole, Geter response was this,

“I don’t really know much about them at all.”

Geter said he is in the process of setting up visits.

“I’m in the process of setting up some visits this summer. One visit, I know that we are in the process to set up a visit to Kentucky. Not sure what other schools I will visit because we are discussing who we will visit at this time.”

The Carol City freshman standout had a few words about his recruitment as it stands right now.

“I’m just enjoying the recruiting process right now”, said Geter.

His college decision is years away, meaning a lot can and will change in his recruitment, but the freshman all-purpose back plans to make his college decision during his senior year.
