Kentucky might be late to the offering party for three-star, offensive guard Kamaar Bell, but the 6-foot-3, 320-pounder is willing to listen to the Cats’ recruiting pitch. Bell already had received offers from Alabama, Florida, Indiana, UCF, USF, and West Virginia, while garnering interest from the likes of Miami (Fla.), LSU, Virginia Tech, Missouri, and Mississippi.
The Colquitt County (Ga.) junior talks about his latest SEC East offer coming from Kentucky.
“I was surprised when Coach (Steven) Clinkscale offered me. It came out of nowhere,” said Bell.
He also breaks down his plans for this summer.
“I plan on visiting Kentucky. Not sure the exact date, but I do want to take a visit there and learn more about UK before I make my college decision.”
Bell mentioned he has no other visits planned out at this time.
The Colquitt County junior, an offensive guard said he has a school that is standing out in his recruitment at his time.
“My top school is the Alabama Crimson Tide.”
He also mentioned when he would like to make his college decision.
“I want to make my college decision in sometime in July.”
Bell explained that he will visit Kentucky before making his college decision. In June, Kentucky will be having their annual summer camps, so it’s possible he will be visiting for one of those as most of Kentucky’s top targets will be in Lexington.
