The Kentucky Wildcats reeled in three-star wide receiver LiAllen Dailey from Alabama. The Cats needed another wide receiver in the 2018 class with recent departures to the position group. Dailey left Lexington as a Kentucky Wildcat after his official visit this weekend. Dailey spoke with B3 on why he chose the Cats.

“I loved Kentucky. I’ve always wanted to play in SEC and Kentucky gave me the first chance to do so.

Coach Eddie Gran handled his recruitment. Dailey breaks down the recruiting pitch to lure him into the Blue and White.

“Coach Gran and Coach (Mark) Stoops told me they lost a couple of receivers to graduation and they needed a big physical guy like myself to come in and be a contributor. Both coaches were happy when I told them I was committing to Kentucky.”

The 6-foot-3, 196-pound wide receiver is unsure what he will major in when he arrives in June.

Dailey has a special message for the BBN.

“Let’s get ready to work and get the SEC Championship.”
