Earlier this week, a Kentucky coaching staff member visited ASA (NY) College. Sources told us, UK is showing preliminary interest in offensive tackle Parris Heath Jr. The 6-foot-4, 325-pound offensive tackle is originally from Paramus, New Jersey, home of the Paramus Catholic Paladins, which is always loaded with high-major D1 football talent every single year. Heath Jr. is garnering interest from Maryland and Oklahoma as well as Kentucky. He has yet to receive an offer, but he spoke with his interest coming from Kentucky.

“I really didn’t get a chance to speak with the staff member from Kentucky, but I know they have interest in me now.”

ASA College offensive tackle mentions he doesn’t know much about Kentucky at this time.

“I don’t know much about them, but I would like to know more about them though.”

Heath Jr. explains why his recruitment is slowly gaining momentum.

“When I first started at ASA, I had some personal issues that hurt my grades at first, but my grades are continuing to improve. I actually have all B’s right now but want all A’s.”

The Garden State native said he is not taking any visits this summer but will take visits down the road.

“Unfortunately not taking any visits this summer. I want to take some visits before I can make my final college decision.”

With his grades continue to improve, I expect his recruitment to explode. Kentucky has set themselves up well in his recruitment by being on him early.
