Another day, another scholarship offer handed out in Louisiana. Coach (Michael) Smith is making it known Kentucky is going to recruit the State of Louisiana hard. The Cats extended an offer to the three-star, 2019 athlete Jha’Quan Jackson. The 5-foot-10, 175-pounder hails from Hahnville High (La.). He holds an offer from Houston, West Virginia, Western Kentucky and several more smaller school offers.

Jackson talks about his first SEC offer coming from Kentucky.

“I am blessed and honored to receive an offer from Kentucky.”

He said he knows a little bit about Kentucky’s offense.

“I know they like the spread the defense out in their pro-style offense. I have to do some more research on Kentucky,” said Jackson.

The Hahnville junior standout said Kentucky is looking at him as a wide receiver with plans to visit Lexington in the near future.

“I’m planning to camp or visit Kentucky in June. I am not sure the exact date yet.”

Jackson said he doesn’t have any other visits planned out anywhere else.

The Bayou State junior prospect claims to have no favorites but has a time-frame of when he would like to make his college decision.

“I want to make my college decision by the end of my senior season. I’m planning to sign my NLI in December,” said Jackson.

Kentucky is in a good position for Jha’Quan Jackson early on in his recruitment.
