Your favorite cheer team just landed a spot any other cheer team would do front flips for, literally. The University of Kentucky cheerleaders will represent the US at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea. They will be participating in a Cheerleading championship with teams from a plethora of other countries.

Wildcat Banter:

  • The USA cheer committee has chosen the University of Kentucky to participate and cheer in the following: Street parades, Olympic venues, closing ceremonies, and as well as the actual cheer competition.
  • Kentucky Volleyball hosts the first and second round of the Division 1 Women’s Volleyball Championship. The team is currently sitting at 26-3, and will be taking on East Tennessee State University at 7:30 PM, December 1st, at Memorial Coliseum.
  • Amidst a disappointing 7-5 season, Wildcat fans have some source as a way to smile. Benny Snell has set 5 school records following his huge 200+ yard game against Louisville. And we still have him for another year, so don’t fear, Benny Snell is here.

  • Calipari and the cats are finally looking like they could be a team that makes a deep run in the tournament. Their last two wins they have won by at least 20 points or more, and they will be looking to continue that at Rupp as they host Harvard at 3:30 on Saturday.

Non-Wildcat Banter:

  • Ole Miss finds themselves in deep water as they are facing 15 level 1 violations, and 21 violations in total. The decisions including penalties Ole Miss could be getting charged with will be announced at 8:30 AM Friday.

  • #3 Michigan State will be hosting #5 Notre Dame tonight at 7:00. Notre Dame is still undefeated and is playing at a very high level early in the season, But the Spartans have home court advantage and also a Hall of Fame coach at their disposal.
  • Set to face off tonight in the NFL world are the Dallas Cowboys and the Washington Redskins. Both teams have had disappointing seasons to say the least, and neither are playoff contenders. Ever since the loss of Ezekiel Elliot, The cowboys have been looking for an identity and not finding it.
